Ding. Ding. Let it begin.

So a client of mine recently switched over to a brand spanking, all shiny and sparkly, quad-core monster system that is running Windows 7 Home Premium. Everything was flowing smoothly. The backup and copy over was nice once it was done. 20 G’s does take it’s time still, until we get some fiber optic cabling happening deep inside the mobo of course. ( I can only imagine ) Data at the speed of light!

Either way, once the files were copied over the set up began. Configuring security, browsers, user settings, icons, printers…that type of stuff. It was gravy all the way until we got to email. (continue reading…)

A new day has arrived in the world of operating systems and computers. That day is today and Windows 7 has arrived!

So far, it’s not too shabby. I tossed it onto my Asus EeePC 1000H with no issues what so ever. (continue reading…)
